Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use ontacash.ca and when you submit an enquiry through it.
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain the conditions for using ontacash.ca and submitting information through the website.
Please read these terms before using our services. Additional notices and consent requirements may appear when you submit a request.
1. About OntaCash
OntaCash provides a website through which eligible users can submit loan requests for consideration by a lender.
OntaCash does not make the final lending decision. Loan approval, the amount offered, borrowing costs and repayment terms depend on the lender and applicable law.
Information on this website does not constitute a loan offer or a commitment to provide credit.
2. Eligibility
To submit a loan request, you must:
Be at least the age of majority in your province or territory.
Reside in a location supported by the service.
Have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement.
Provide accurate and complete information.
Meet the lender’s applicable eligibility requirements.
A lender may require an active bank account, an acceptable income source and information needed to assess your request.
Meeting basic eligibility requirements does not guarantee approval.
3. Providing Accurate Information
You are responsible for the information you submit.
Do not use another person’s identity, provide misleading financial details or submit information without permission.
If you discover an error in a request, contact us promptly. If the request has already reached a lender, you may also need to contact that lender.
Inaccurate or incomplete information may delay or prevent processing.
4. Submitting a Loan Request
Submitting a request allows the information to be processed according to the notices and consent choices presented during the application.
A request may require further information or verification before a lender can make a decision.
Submitting a request:
Does not guarantee approval.
Does not guarantee a particular loan amount or rate.
Does not create a loan agreement.
Does not require you to accept an offer.
Review any offer carefully before agreeing to it.
5. Approval and Funding Times
References to quick decisions, express processing or fast funding describe possible processing times. They are not guarantees.
Timing may depend on:
Whether the information provided is complete.
Identity, income or banking verification.
Lender operating hours and review procedures.
Bank or payment-provider processing.
Weekends, holidays and technical interruptions.
Where the website accepts requests outside business hours, that does not necessarily mean a lender will review or fund a request immediately.
6. Credit Checks and Verification
Lenders determine the checks required for their products, subject to applicable law and consent requirements.
These may include identity verification, income assessment, banking verification or credit-related checks.
A reference to bad-credit options or no-credit-check products does not mean every lender follows the same process or that approval is guaranteed.
Read the specific authorisations presented before consenting to a check.
7. Loan Offers and Agreements
Any loan agreement is between you and the lender identified in that agreement.
Before accepting, review:
The lender’s identity and contact information.
The amount you will receive.
All borrowing costs and applicable disclosures.
The total amount repayable.
Payment dates and payment methods.
Consequences of missed payments.
Any cancellation or early-repayment rights.
Ask the lender to explain anything you do not understand.
If these website terms differ from your loan agreement about the loan itself, consult the lender and the applicable agreement. Mandatory legal rights continue to apply.
8. Borrowing Costs
The lender sets the costs and terms of any loan, subject to applicable law.
Website examples are illustrations unless clearly identified as an offer available to you. They do not replace the disclosures in a loan agreement.
Do not assume that an advertised amount, repayment period or cost applies to every applicant or province.
Consider whether repayment will leave enough money for essential expenses before accepting credit.
9. Repayment and Loan Support
The lender manages repayment arrangements and questions about an issued loan.
Contact the lender directly about:
Payment dates or account balances.
Early repayment.
A missed or returned payment.
Financial difficulty.
Changes to an existing loan.
Cancellation rights under the agreement or applicable law.
Contacting OntaCash does not automatically change or suspend a payment obligation.
10. Privacy and Communications
Personal information is handled according to the website’s Privacy Policy and the notices presented when information is collected.
A privacy policy does not replace any separate consent required for sharing sensitive information, verification or marketing.
You may receive communications needed to respond to an enquiry or process a request. Promotional communications are subject to applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
11. Acceptable Use
You must not:
Submit fraudulent or unauthorised requests.
Impersonate another person or business.
Attempt to access information or systems without permission.
Upload malicious code or interfere with website operation.
Use automated tools in a way that disrupts the service.
Copy or reuse website content in a way that infringes applicable rights.
Use the website for unlawful purposes.
We may restrict access or decline to process a request where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns or legal requirements.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may link to lenders or other third-party services.
Those organisations have their own terms, privacy policies and eligibility requirements. Review them before providing information or entering into an agreement.
A link does not guarantee a third party’s approval decision, availability or performance.
13. Website Information and Availability
We aim to keep website information useful and accurate. Information may change, and errors or interruptions can occur.
We may update, suspend or remove website features for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
General website information is not personalised financial, legal or tax advice.
14. Intellectual Property
Website text, graphics, branding and other materials may be protected by intellectual property rights.
You may access the website for lawful personal use. Other uses may require permission from the relevant rights holder.
These terms do not transfer ownership of website content or third-party materials to you.
15. Liability and Consumer Rights
Responsibility for any loss depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, OntaCash is not responsible for a lender’s independent credit decision or for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or removes mandatory consumer rights.
16. Applicable Law
These website terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, subject to mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply in your province or territory.
Nothing in this section requires you to give up a right to bring a complaint or claim in a forum available under applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms as the website, services or legal requirements change.
The current version will show an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek agreement to material changes.
Changes to these website terms do not, by themselves, amend an existing loan agreement.
